The hut is an ideal starting point for all kinds of tours. It offers space for 18 people, divided into 2 bedrooms, a lounge and a Norwegian, odourless dry toilet inside.
Dormitories
The hut has one dormitory with 10 beds and another at the back with 8 beds, equipped with down duvets and pillows. Silk sleeping bag obligatory!
Terrace
The terrace in front of the hut has a marvellous view of the Binntal valley and the surrounding mountains.
Lounge
The cosy lounge invites guests to eat and linger. This includes a good glass of Valais wine.
Catering
In the small, simple kitchen, food is prepared for half board in the evening and à la carte at lunchtime. Gas is used for cooking.
Solar and wind turbine
Electricity is generated at the Mittlenberg hut using solar and wind power. Economical use of energy is a prerequisite.
